There is no unauthorized access to the stones which meant that it was not possible to get top-quality
close-ups but the tour should still provide a flavour of the rich lichen communities present at this
extraordinary World Heritage Site. Obviously there is no substitute for being there yourself but English Heritage
have had the stones surveyed using a laser scanner and have produced this virtual tour.
